1 Manhattan Resources warned investors that it has notched up its third year of pre-tax losses. But it is worth $55 million, more than the $40 million threshold, below which it could be placed on the SGX watch list.


2 Sincap Group, which has mining interests and trading activities, has appointed lawyers to handle a letter of demand for 6.8 million yuan (S$1.4 million) by its head of China operations Fu Hao. The lawyers have refuted the claim.

4 UOB Kay Hian managing director Wee Ee Chao has ceased to be a deemed substantial shareholder of security solutions player Secura Group.


5 Hyflux subsidiary Qurayyat Desalination SAOC has lifted its share capital, as part of financing requirements for the Qurayyat Independent Water Project, a desalination plant in Oman, from 1.5 million rial (S$5.4 million) to 11.458 million rial.
