1 Fragrance Group's Australian unit has obtained a planning permit to redevelop 555 Collins Street, Melbourne, into a mixed-use multi-storey building that comprises homes and shops.

2 HLH Group has awarded a US$35.3 million (S$48 million) contract for the construction of its D'Seaview project in Sihanoukville, Cambodia, to Sinohydro Corp. Piling has finished and the site has been handed over to Sinohydro.

3 Global Palm Resources bought back 8,000 of its own shares yesterday at 27.5 cents apiece, spending $2,243.75, including stamp duties and clearing charges. It has bought back 824,000 shares since April 25.

4 Singapore-listed Ausgroup has been given a two-month extension to hold an annual general meeting for its financial year ended June 30. It will have to hold the meeting by Dec 31.

5 Volkswagen investors have filed lawsuits seeking a total of €8.2 billion (S$12.4 billion) for losses stemming from the company's emissions-cheating scandal.
