Market highlights

1 Property player Roxy-Pacific bought back 20,000 shares at 43 cents apiece. The total consideration was $8,650.

2 UOB, DBS Group Holdings and OCBC Bank have averaged a 3.1 per cent gain over the first four sessions of September. Over the same period, the Bloomberg Asia Pacific Banks Index gained 0.1 per cent in Singdollar terms.

3 SGX-listed Maxi-Cash Financial Services is doing a rights issue of up to 145.5 million shares. The issue price is 14.5 cents per share on the basis of one rights share for every four existing shares.
