1 Internet firm Yuzoo has been granted a patent for a new technology which allows for more efficient and targeted advertising across its social media platforms.

2 Goldman Sachs said yesterday that Britain's vote to leave the European Union may adversely affect some of its operations in the EU and could require the bank to restructure some of its businesses.

3 The state of Queensland, Australia's biggest coal producer, could face a A$3.2 billion (S$3.28 billion) shortfall in funding to rehabilitate coal mines when they close, according to a preliminary estimate done for a state agency.

4 Temasek unit Fullerton has acquired 610,000 shares of CRCC high-tech equipment at an average price of HK$3.878 (S$0.67) a share. It owns 8.1 per cent of CRCC high-tech equipment after the latest transaction.

5 Overseas funds poured US$5.4 billion (S$7.2 billion) intoTaiwan's stock market last month, taking inflows for the year to US$11.6 billion, and making Taiwan the most popular market for investors among nine Asian ones.
