KUALA LUMPUR (BLOOMBERG) - Malaysia's benchmark stock index was frozen for almost an hour because of a malfunctioning price feed from the exchange.
Bursa Malaysia Bhd., the nation's stock exchange operator, said it was investigating the cause of the disruption. Individual stocks still traded during the incident.
The price feed for the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI index froze at 10:38 a.m. and resumed at 11:32 a.m., according to data compiled by Bloomberg News.
The stock index was little changed at 11:59 a.m. and has declined 2.1 per cent this year.
