HONG KONG (AFP) - Hong Kong shares climbed 0.39 per cent in the opening exchanges Monday, taking a lead from a record close on Wall Street at the end of last week.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 89.61 points to 23,055.47 in the first few minutes.
