Hafary posts 73% rise in Q2 earnings

SINGAPORE - Hafary Holdings has posted a 73 per cent rise in second quarter net earnings to $4.3 million.

Revenue for the three months to Dec 31 was up 31.7 per cent at $33.5 million.

Revenue from both its general and project segments grew strongly. The group supplied tiles and building materials for several development projectssuch as Sky Habitat in Bishan, Beauty World MRT Station of Downtown Line and Yale NUS College.

Earnings per share grew to 0.99 cent from 0.57 cent previously while net asset value per share firmed to 9.3 cents compared to 8.8 cents as at June 30.

No interim dividend was declared, unlike last year when one cent a share was paid.
