SINGAPORE - Resorts World Sentosa operator Genting Singapore returned to the black in the fourth-quarter with a net profit of S$159.2 million from a loss of S$7.8 million a year ago, the group said in a Singapore Exchange filing on Wednesday.
For the three months ended Dec 31, 2016, revenue edged up 2 per cent to S$557.7 million from S$547.4 million a year ago.
Earnings per share was 1.33 cents for the quarter, compared with loss per share of 0.06 cents in the preceding year.
Net asset value per share dipped to 60.1 cents as at Dec 31, from 61 cents a year ago.
The group proposed a final dividend of 1.5 Singapore cents per share, unchanged from 1.5 cents a share in the corresponding period in the preceding year.
Genting Singapore shares ended one cent or 1 per cent higher at 98 cents.
