Four Singapore firms in global top 20 for investor relations

Starhub has joined CapitaLand, DBS Group and SingTel to a global ranking of top 50 companies for performance in investor relations (IR).

The four Singapore companies were in the top 20 of IR Magazine's 2014 Global Top 50 ranking which assesses how companies from six regions - the United States, Canada, Europe, Greater China, South-east Asia and Brazil - manage IR and look after the interests of stakeholders. CapitaLand, DBS and SingTel were in last year's top 50.

Starhub was also this year's winner in the Global Top Small/Mid-Cap category for companies with a market capitalization of less than US$7.5 billion,

Its chief marketing officer Jeannie Ong was named one of three runners-up for best investor relations officer (IRO) for small and mid-cap companies.
