Sembcorp Marine

Rigbuilder Sembcorp Marine delivered an accommodation semi-submersible vessel to its customer Prosafe this month.

Named Safe Zephyrus, it is the second offshore accommodation semi-submersible vessel Sembcorp Marine has built for Prosafe, an owner and operator.

The vessel can house 450 people in single cabins and incorporates glass atriums that provide natural light to the central cabins, mess room and recreational areas.


ST Engineering

Vision Technologies Aerospace (VT Aerospace), ST Engineering's aerospace arm, has injected US$3 million (S$4.3 million) into its subsidiary VT Volant Aerospace.

This brings VT Aerospace's total investment in VT Volant Aerospace to US$21.1 million.

VT Aerospace is a subsidiary of VT Systems, the United States headquarters of ST Engineering.

VT Systems has injected US$1.5 million into VT Aerospace, as funding for the capital injection.

VT Volant Aerospace works with ST Aerospace's maintenance, repair and overhaul businesses and in-house engineering and development centres.


Keppel Infrastructure Trust

Lower fuel prices weighed on revenue at Keppel Infrastructure Trust but also helped keep expenses down in the third quarter.

Net profit for the Singapore infrastructure business trust came in at $8.7 million for the three months ended Dec 31, up from a loss of $10.7 million in the corresponding period a year ago.

Revenue for the quarter was $160.5 million, up 33.8 per cent from the preceding year.

It declared distribution per unit of 0.93 Singapore cent for the quarter ended Dec 31.

The trust's manager said in a statement it would continue to look out for acquisition opportunities.
