Roxy-Pacific

THE Roxy-Pacific subsidiary Roxy Jakarta Hotels has joined forces with Indonesian investors to acquire a land parcel in central Jakarta. The site will cost 68.12 billion rupiah (S$6.8 million).

The buyers will set up a joint venture company, with Roxy Jakarta holding 49 per cent with the aim of building a hotel. Its acquisition is being financed by internal funds.

Oceanus Group

THE Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority has granted Oceanus Group an extension until next Tuesday to hold its annual general meeting (AGM) for the financial year that ended on Dec 31 last year. Oceanus said yesterday that it will keep shareholders updated about the AGM.

Swiber Holdings

MARINE firm Swiber Holdings has repurchased a further $500,000 of the senior perpetual securities it issued in September 2012. The payment will be settled by tomorrow. The outstanding amount of the securities once the repurchased securities are cancelled will be $77.75 million. Swiber issued $80 million of the securities at a coupon rate of 9.75 per cent to raise finds for expansion. Buying a tranche back will help reduce its interest bill.
