Changes to StarHub's senior leadership team

StarHub yesterday announced changes to its senior leadership team, with the appointment of Dr Chong Yoke Sin to lead the enterprise business group, Mr Mock Pak Lum to take charge of business development, and Mr Chong Siew Loong to head the network engineering division. The three senior executives report directly to chief executive Tan Tong Hai.

"These new senior leadership appointments will support our efforts as we continue to focus our transformation strategy to become a digital enabler who creates exciting digital experiences that customers want," said Mr Tan.

StarHub also said its chief commercial officer Kevin Lim plans to retire by the end of the year. In the interim, Mr Lim will work closely with Dr Chong to ensure a smooth transition for the enterprise business group.

Dr Chong's appointment as chief of the enterprise business group takes effect on April 3. She will be responsible for driving the next growth phase of the enterprise business and deepening engagement with the business community.

Dr Chong was CEO of Integrated Health Information Systems (IHiS) for eight years from November 2008. She integrated the then IT departments of the public healthcare clusters of National Health Group and SingHealth to form IHiS, a Ministry of Health Holdings subsidiary.

Mr Mock, who joined StarHub as chief technology officer in June 2011, will focus on discovering new business opportunities for the firm and ensuring strategic investments are synergistic with its core businesses.

Mr Chong was vice-president of the network engineering division before assuming the role of chief technology officer, overseeing network operations, development and transformation.
