CapitaLand restructuring unlocks value for shareholders

SINGAPORE - There is nothing like a bit of restructuring to breathe life into a somewhat moribund stock.

Listed CapitaLand soared some 21 per cent in early trading yesterday, after South-east Asia's largest property group announced a restructuring that would separate its challenging property development business and its more lucrative real estate management business.
