Boustead Singapore secures three contracts to take orderbook to $452 million

SINGAPORE - Boustead Singapore was recently awarded three design-and-build contracts with a total value that could go up to $137 million.

The final value of these contracts will be determined based on provisional design and engineering options.

The latest contracts, which are expected to be completed by 2015, were awarded by clients in the food, logistics and renewable energy industries.

The first contract involves the delivery of an integrated food production, logistics andoffice facility for a client specialising in the food logistics and supply chain management services industry.

Earmarked to attain Green Mark Gold, the facility will incorporate spaces for food production, offices, as well as an advanced automatic storage and retrieval system within its cold, chilled and ambient warehouse.

The integration of a cold storage warehouse with an automatic storage and retrieval system is a first for Boustead Projects.

The second contract is for the delivery of an advanced integrated logistics and office facility for a global logistics provider.

Boustead Projects will also be undertaking the design and building of a warehouse for one of the world's largest corporations in the renewable energy sector.

The latest contracts will raise the Boustead group's order book backlog to more than $452 million.

They are expected to have a positive material impact on the profitability and earnings per share of the group in the financial year ending March 31, 2015.
