Ausgroup says operations in Singapore, Kwinana to continue

Ausgroup said its Singapore fabrication business will remain unchanged, with the appointment of a new top manager.

Mr Christopher Dargie is the group manager of strategy and development.

"The Singapore business continues to operate as a strong and established business servicing local, regional and international markets in the provision of precision machining and complex fabrication," it said in a statement on Monday, clarifying an erroneous online report.

The offshore support services company said it has implemented changes to its operating and cost structure of the fabrication business in Australia.

"Work will continue within the Kwinana facility, servicing local oil and gas sectors and will be an important service provider directly to our growing maintenance business in Australia", the statement to Singapore Exchange said.
