Chasen subsidiaries clinch projects worth $9.1m

Singapore-listed investment holding company Chasen Holdings said on Monday its subsidiaries have clinched four projects worth $9.1 million in all.

The subsidiaries are from Chasen's technical and engineering business segment. The projects range from designing and building steel structure and pipe racks for a Tuas pharmaceutical plant to helping with an air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation improvement project for a fragrance and flavor manufacturing facility in Woodlands.

A third project involves producing a tower mounted amplifier and device for two telecommunication manufacturers based in China's Suzhou city.

The projects vary in duration from two months to 30 months.

Chasen said it "expects the momentum to continue" and anticipates more contract wins from both its relocation and technical and engineering business segments over the remaining months of the financial year, which will end on March 31 next year. The group believes it will be profitable for the year.
