‘Be with the customer through their darkest hour’: DBS CEO-designate Tan Su Shan

Q: When were you told about your appointment as CEO? How did you react, and who did you call first with the news?
A: I was told probably slightly over a year ago. But there were a lot of moving parts; there was a global search done. The appointment was only confirmed by the regulator in August.
