SINGAPORE - Getting a handle on our share stakes and other financial holdings has long been a dog's breakfast what with a myriad bank sites and government agencies to check but a new initiative will soon make the process a piece of cake.

The game-changer will come when the Singapore Financial Data Exchange (SGFinDex) starts to include Central Depository (CDP) stock holding information, likely by the end of the year.
