Mr Jawed Ashraf (centre), the High Commissioner of India to Singapore, was the guest of honour at the inauguration of the State Bank of India's (SBI) Ang Mo Kio branch yesterday. With him were SBI chief executive officer Manaw Prasad (far left) and SBI Singapore country head Soma Sankara Prasad.
The branch has relocated to a new location within Ang Mo Kio. One of the bank's three heartland branches, it caters to the banking needs of the locals in the area. In total, India's top lender has six branches in Singapore serving both corporates and individuals.
For individuals, products such as home loans and savings and deposit accounts are available.
