SINGAPORE - The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) said on Tuesday (Feb 10) that it will release the Economic Survey of Singapore 2014 on February 17 at 8.00 am.
The survey will include the overall performance of the economy, sectoral performance, sources of growth, inflation, employment and productivity during the fourth quarter and whole of 2014.
The government's advance reading of Singapore's fourth-quarter gross domestic product (GDP), released on Jan. 2, showed that economic growth in October-December slowed to 1.5 per cent from a year earlier. This put the advance estimate for full-year 2014 growth at 2.8 per cent
Some private-sector economists expect the Q4 GDP figure to be revised upwards given that the manufacturing sector contracted less than expected in December.
