SINGAPORE - More teenagers have debit cards these days so it's even more vital for parents to advise their children on spending habits given the surge in online shopping, especially amid the pandemic, experts said.
Around 50 per cent of teenagers aged 16 to 18 have a debit card, OCBC Bank noted, up from 33 per cent or so five years ago.
