Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, will attend a two-day G20 meeting in Istanbul from today.

The G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting will discuss policy actions to secure economic stability and better growth in both advanced and emerging countries, a ministry of finance statement said.

The meeting will also discuss reforms in international finance.

Mr Tharman will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
