Investors with traditional with-profits plans to gain amid high life fund returns; 2018 outlook not as good

Strong share markets last year are delivering bumper bonuses for investors holding traditional with-profits insurance plans.

Some insurers have reported that their life fund returns in 2017 were the highest of the past three years.
