SINGAPORE - Banks have stepped up security measures following a directive from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in July, in the wake of the cyber attack on SingHealth.

Personal information belonging to 1.5 million patients at the Republic's largest public healthcare group were stolen in the worst cyber attack in Singapore's history.
