KUALA LUMPUR (REUTERS) - Malaysia's AirAsia X, the long-haul arm of Asia's largest low-cost airline, announced on Friday it had won an licence to operate services from Bali, Indonesia.
Indonesia AirAsia Extra, a 49-51 per cent joint venture with PT Kirana Anugerah Perkasa, will provide feeder traffic from north Asia and Australia to the group's domestic operations.
The venture plans to establish Bali as a second international hub for AirAsia X after Bangkok.
