SINGAPORE - Integrated services firm Advancer Global has bought security services firm Ashtree for $400,000 to beef up its security services business.
Ashtree is a security training and technology consultancy firm, with specialisation in aviation security, sensor technology and blast mitigation, among others. Its clients are major players in the aviation industry.
"Ashtree will enable us to gain instant entry into the new business area such as aviation security, where it has a strong foothold," said Advancer Global's chief executive office Gary Chin.
The purchase price was arrived with Ashtree's owner Dr Matthew Yap taking into account "Ashtree's management strength and capabilities".
Advancer Global is most well-known for its Nation subsidiary, which recruits, employs and trains foreign domestic workers for Singaporean households here.
