800 Super gets $97.3 million integrated public cleaning contract

A unit of Catalist-listed 800 Super Holdings, which provides environmental services, cleaning and conservancy and horticultural services, has won a $97.3 million contract with the National Environmental Agency (NEA), said the firm on Feb 13.

Under the contract, waste management firm 800 Super Waste Management will provide integrated public cleaning services for Singapore's north-west region.

The contract is for six years from April 1 to March 30, 2020, with an option for extension for another year.

Chairman of 800 Super, Mr Lee Koh Yong, said: "The award of this integrated public cleaning contract for the north-west region of Singapore is an acknowledgement of our track record and our ability to provide integrated environmental services of high quality."

He added that it will continue to invest in technology, equipment and training, to maintain high service standards.

The contract is expected to contribute positively to the group's earnings.

No material impact is expected on the group's consolidated net tangible assets per share or earnings per share for the financial year ending June 30.
