Rhea Yasmine

Yasmine joined The Straits Times’ ST Now breaking news team in 2024, after a stint at CNA where she covered South-east Asia, with a focus on Malaysia and Indonesia. She now writes about local issues as well as those from beyond the region. Yasmine graduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree in sociology. She enjoys reading poetry and can usually be found trying her hand at a new craft or curled up with her cat.
