Lim Yaohui

Photojournalist

Yaohui is an executive photojournalist with The Straits Times. His passion for nature led him to work as a horticulturist in the Singapore Botanic Gardens after graduating with a life science degree in 2007. In 2012, he left to pursue photography, and became a full-time photojournalist with ST in 2016. His most memorable assignment involved documenting a sperm whale that was found dead and floating off Jurong Island in 2015. He has an interest in environmental, health and heritage issues.
