Ingrid Yu

Ingrid Yu joined The Straits Times in May 2026. As an editorial assistant based in Beijing, she researches and writes on topics spanning culture and politics in China. She earned her master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University in 2024 and spent a year producing video feature stories. She spends her free time watching movies, reading, and exploring city parks.
