Carlos Marin

Data Visualisation Developer

Carlos is a data visualisation developer at The Straits Times. One of his main roles is researching new technologies and proposing workflow improvements, and he has been responsible for changes in tools and methods since 2021. At the daily Estadao, he led the digital graphics team and designed and implemented internal tools. Although he studied to be a scientist before, Carlos has a bachelor’s in design and has been familiar with programming since he was a teenager. Outside the digital realm, his hobby is woodworking.
