A school in a rural town of Guangdong province now has a canteen and dormitory, thanks to CapitaLand Hope Foundation.

Last week, in the spirit of community development, a volunteer expedition of 55 people was organized to give their time and attention to the students at the school.

The Straits Times photojournalist Ong Wee Jin followed them on the three day expedition.
