BANGKOK – Thailand plans to send some 100,000 labourers to work overseas by the end of 2024, government spokesman Chai Wacharonke said on March 8.

New markets for Thai workers will be Australia, Italy and Portugal, Mr Chai said, adding that more than 29,000 have been deployed already so far in 2024. REUTERS
