US air strikes on Afghan drug labs unlawful, caused civilian casualties: UN

KABUL (REUTERS) - United States air strikes on alleged Taleban drug labs in western Afghanistan in May caused at least 39 civilian casualties, including 14 children, and the facilities were not lawful targets, a United Nations report said on Wednesday (Oct 9).

US forces have said there were no casualties.
