ISLAMABAD - Diehard supporters of Pakistan cricketer-turned celebrity politician, Imran Khan, have blamed "looters" for his removal as prime minister, a stance dismissed by mostly everyone else in the country.

The political situation is likely to be gripped by turmoil for some time yet amid a deteriorating economy as the ousted leader remains a potent force.
