Murder charge threat for Bangladesh opposition chief

DHAKA (AFP) - Bangladeshi opposition leader Khaleda Zia should expect to be charged with murder after an arson attack by her supporters which left three people fighting for their lives, a minister said on Tuesday.

"She should prepare for a murder case," Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu told reporters, in connection with an attack last week by supporters of Zia's Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in which three people suffered life-threatening burns.
