A police officer trying to communicate with firefighters (not in picture) battling a blaze that broke out at a construction wood market yesterday in Kabul, Afghanistan. Witnesses blamed the fire on carelessness, but the cause was as yet not known. The huge fire caused serious damage to shops, but there were no casualties reported. It took firefighters hours to extinguish the blaze.
