KOLKATA - Mr Ramjibhai Pavanbhai Gohel's fishing business in Veraval, a key fishing hub in the state of Gujarat, was flourishing in 2019.

His two trawlers would bring in prized catch from off the coast in Gujarat in western India, earning him monthly profits of 50,000 to 100,000 rupees (S$910 to S$1,820).
