India plans a mission to Venus by mid-2023

NEW DELHI - Following successful missions to the moon and Mars, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced plans to go to Venus by mid-2023.

A statement from ISRO last week called for collaboration with the international scientific community on "novel space-based experiments to study specific areas of science interest on Venus".
