India draws closer to US, but also reaches out to Iran, Russia on Afghanistan

NEW DELHI - Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent visit to the US was seen as a success at home, reaffirming the ties between New Delhi and Washington.

Mr Modi held talks with US President Joe Biden and took part in the first in-person meeting of the Quadrilateral Security Forum, a grouping of Australia, India, Japan and the US.
