NEW DELHI - In August last year, Ankur Warikoo, 41, who creates content on personal finance, had 13,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.

His subscriber base has since grown exponentially to 800,000, a sign of how people have turned to social media platforms for financial management advice amid uncertainty during the Covid-19 pandemic.
