NEW DELHI – Amid wheat and sugar cane fields in the northern state of Haryana, lawyer-turned-agripreneur Anuj Batra is growing Italian strawberries.
On a 400 sq m plot carved out from his family’s farmland in the village of Kahnaur, Mr Batra and his friend Rajat Gulati have been cultivating strawberry plants hydroponically in the past 10 months.
