A Kashmiri medic covers one of his eyes with a patch while taking part in a demonstration outside a hospital in Srinagar on Wednesday. The protesters covered one of their eyes to highlight the plight of pellet gun victims, who have been left partially or completely blind after being shot during ongoing protests in the restive Himalayan state. More than 50 people have been killed and thousands injured in weeks of unrest in Indian-administered Kashmir. The crisis was sparked by the death of popular rebel commander Burhan Wani in a firefight with government forces last month.
