The Kumbh Mela festival, one of Hinduism's biggest religious congregations, began on Tuesday with transgender ascetics being allowed to take part for the first time. Along with that historic milestone, the congregation has taken on a political overtone this year ahead of the parliamentary elections due in around three months.
The Law Ministry and the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore released details of changes to the Copyright Act in a report which makes 15 proposals, put together after a three-year review and public consultations. Proposed changes include measures against the import and sale of certain set-top boxes.
