India's tycoons are playing a pivotal role in the Asian giant's most expensive election ever. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's re-election bid has received huge financial backing from corporate India, raising fears about the integrity of the world's largest democratic process. 

In his opening address to the 7th Singapore-China Forum on Leadership in Yan'an, Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean spoke on Singapore's approach to achieving its people's aspirations for better lives - through better policies, engagement and people development.
