Younger Malaysians will not be able to vote if a snap election is called despite the fact that the voting age was reduced last year.
Electoral reforms passed by the Malaysian Parliament last year to lower the voting age to 18, from 21, cannot be implemented in time if a snap election is called within the next six months or even into early next year.
