KUALA LUMPUR (THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK): A woman who caused an uproar in the city centre by stripping naked in broad daylight has been arrested, police said.

She was spotted taking off her clothes while walking from the National Mosque to Kampung Attap around noon last Friday, Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Department chief SAC Zainuddin Ahmad said Wednesday, according to Bernama.

The woman, who is in her 20s, has been sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for psychiatric assessment, he said.

A video that shows the woman walking naked in the middle of the road has gone viral on WhatsApp messenger.
