Mahathir meets Jokowi in Jakarta

Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad is scheduled to meet Indonesian President Joko Widodo in Jakarta today, when the leaders will have a luncheon together.

Tun Dr Mahathir's two-day trip is his first bilateral visit to a South-east Asian nation after his shock win in last month's general election.


New Singapore Zoo exhibit unveiled

Wildlife Reserves Singapore is unveiling a new night-time experience called Rainforest Lumina at the Singapore Zoo today. The new exhibit engages visitors using a network of illuminated, immersive and interactive multimedia zones. Guests will explore a 1km stretch of a tropical rainforest at night. Animals in the zoo will not be part of the experience, which is centred on virtual animals.


Del Monte Pacific announces results

Mainboard-listed Del Monte Pacific will announce the group's fourth quarter and full-year results ended April 30 before the market opens today.

The new chief executive and chief marketing officer of its US subsidiary, Del Monte Foods, will be joining the results briefing and presenting its strategy.
