Temasek's annual report out today

Singapore investment firm Temasek Holdings will release its latest annual report today.

The yearly review contains key financial measures such as the company's total shareholder return and portfolio value.

It will also outline developments over the past year and the firm's outlook for the future.


Doctors speaking on rare procedure

A woman in Singapore gave birth to the first baby in Asia to be naturally conceived from implanted ovarian tissue in May.

Today, National University Hospital doctors will share how they took ovarian tissue from Madam Siti Nurjannah, 32, and froze it in 2009 - before she had cancer treatment that could affect her fertility - and then implanted it back in her ovaries after she recovered.


Meeting to discuss Malaysia's future

Two of Malaysia's main opposition parties, the Democratic Action Party and Parti Keadilan Rakyat, are convening a meeting today in Parliament to discuss the country's future, following allegations that Prime Minister Najib Razak received US$700 million (S$940 million) into his personal bank accounts. They call on all "progressive MPs" to attend.
