Thailand's ruling coalition on firmer ground after recent by-election wins

BANGKOK - Thailand's wobbly coalition government could stay in power longer than initially expected and complete its full four-year term, which would be a rare achievement in the country, analysts said.

The fortunes of the 16-party coalition have brightened recently, after its victories in two significant by-elections.
